Coors light | the return of the chill train

Super Bowl LVIII marked 12 years since the Coors Light Train derailed and has been laying dormant somewhere in the Rockies.
Since then, things continued to get more and more unchill… The planet warmed. A global pandemic. Harambe. Prince Harry’s no longer a prince.
And so much more.

We figured the only logical explanation, and the only way to bring chill back to the world, was to bring back the Silver Bullet Train.
(but with a new, modern and legally approved name)

THIS IS THE RETURN OF THE COORS LIGHT CHILL TRAIN!

the teaser

Yep. We did a teaser just like every other brand.

The super bowl ad you COULD book a ticket on

We didn’t just bring the Chill Train back… we actually let people book a ticket to ride the train in a special, extended cut of the Super Bowl spot.
Then, through the frosty magic of CGI, we put their faces in the windows of the Chill Train as it bursted forth from the Rockies in slo-mo.

And of course… swag.

Every passenger on the Chill Train got a branded (cardboard) suitcase filled with everything they’d need for this mountain-cold ride…
The highlight of which was a Train-Whistle-Bottle-Opener… the first of its kind.
